Who Should Attend: This course is designed for operators and maintainers of wastewater treatment & collection systems and water treatment & distribution systems.

Description: This class will be presented in two segments; the morning session will be on the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) and the afternoon session will present Bloodborne Pathogens: Collateral Duty. Bloodborne pathogens are infectious microorganisms present in blood that can cause disease in humans. These pathogens include, but are not limited to, hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis C virus (HCV), and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), the virus that causes AIDS. Workers exposed to bloodborne pathogens are at risk for serious or life-threatening illnesses.

HCS: This portion will present the changes to the HCS including Global Harmonization and standard pictograms.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy: A five days' notice in writing is required to cancel. Cancellations received after this time will be charged $50. Registrants who no-show will be billed the full course fee.
